i have a 1987 rx7 and its not turbo'd and its just stock right now. i found a short shifter on ebay, and im not sure if it will fit. here is the link jsut please let me know if this would work on my car or not. thanks!!!

Yes,it will fit,although you have to Sand that Little bushing on the Small ball on the end of the shifter in order to get the Shifter to Go into the transmission's shifter Block.That is the little block inside the hole of where you took the shifter out(look down you will see it).
Suggestion:Important.See Karack's short throw Shifter write up in the sec gen archives,IT will explain all.If I get time,I'll find it and Post it back here.

thanks so much man, this really did help. even though that was for a miata would that still be the same on a rx7

It's the Miata shifter, which is a shorter throw than our stock FC shifter. But it will still work in the FC
