I need help with grinding issue please read!

Hey guys thanks for answer my call for help!

Ok, so I had a problem with grinding in second and a little in third, so i changed the clutch and got a new used tranny. I put them in and it still grinds in second and still a little in third. I'm very sure its not sycnro nor is it my shifting/clutching (becuase I held down the clutch all the way and shfited into second but still grinded). The grinding usually happens when the car is cold. Can it be the clutch cylinders?

Oh and i also changed out the shifter bearings, got Redline MT90 in the tranny.

How long as the Redline been in there??? You need at least 500 miles for it to work its way fully into the gear box.

Grinding either way, is a sign of worn or damaged syncros or shift forks or a poor clutch system

haha alright, the tranny was installed just this weekend and only has about 100 miles.

So since i replaced the tranny and clutch do you think it can be the clutch slave/master cylinder?

I would say its an issue in the tranny itself, but give it some more time and see what happens....

what all did you change when you put the clutch in? did you need to adjust the pedal at all afterwards?

This is a standard issue with older FC trannies. Just an FYI.

mazda had a bulletin on this issue and its a endplay problem in the tranny it has to be rebuilt with different endplay specs by moving around shims on the main shaft in the tranny.
