I need help on Blaster 2 hookup

I plan to use two 2 (non-resistor type) msd coils to replace the leading coil kinda of like what the 1st gens guys are doing. Now would I split the +/- leads off the leading ignitor to run the two coils in parallel? That should be safe for the coils and the system, right? Or do I need to get a CDI like the MSD 6a?

unless your stock coils went out, or your pushing some serious HP, then you're wasting your time and money. Stock coils are actually VERY good. they look bulky, but they are VERY effective.

Thanks Samp, I've read those 2 threads last night but neither one of those are specific to my case since Hailer wanted to run two stock leading coils and Keith was running 2 Hi CDI. I only wanna run 2 blaster coils, keeping the stock ignitor. My issue is a bad breakup above 6k rpm, hitting a break wall under load so that could indicate a bad coil. Since no one here really knows, I'll just go and hook it up. It's only $60 for the blaster2 and if it pops the ignitor, then off to the wreck yard.
