I need to do a home compression test and need some assistance
I need to do a compression test on my car
I searched and I couldnt find anything.. What do I do? I know it involves a compression tester and putting it in the spark plugs and getting 3 readings, one for each rotor face obviously.
Is there a write up anywhere? I need some step-by-step directions of what to do and what kind of tool(s) I need
Thanks

You need to pull the green 40 amp eng egi fuse from the fuse box under the hood. Remove 1 of the spark plugs from the rotor housing. Leave the other in. Open or remove (depending on the model) the check valve on the compression tester. Plug in compression tester. Have assistant crank engine. Gauge needle should bounce up and down. Note how high it bounces. Each bounce is for 1 surface of the rotor. The most important thing is to open the check valve so the gauge doesn't hold the highest reading. If it does that, you could have 1 face at 100psi and another at 30psi but the gauge will never drop below 30.
