I like that one too.

I wouldn't say NO SHOW.

Sorry for the rip from a competing forum, but the picture of the car is what I might like.

I might be shooting for this style

Wheels are functional and a chance to make the car look nice.

I dont mind a car that is lower either, HOWEVER.....

I would want it to lower AT SPEED, and remain normal height at a stanndstill.

So adjustable ride height would be fine but i dont want to get stuck on a speed bump. Hell the Lincoln Mark VIII does this.

I wouldnt mind.

Nor would i mind a spoiler that appeared like the Porsche one.

flubyux2, you bring up some good points, and you pretty much hit my philosophy on the head there. There are a couple of subtle cosmetic changes I would like to make, but they're just that, subtle.

I'm not really concerned with blowing the doors off of everything, I don't care about drag racing. However, I am very concerned with performance, just not in a straight line.

Oh, and I saw some Altezza's that might look good on an RX-7.

A parked near where I live just got a set of the carbon fiber backed Altezza's, it's a black car and they actually look decent on it, way better than the stock lights. Perhaps if these were designed correctly they would look good on an FC. Of course, they would have to keep the three big round circles.

I guess I'd have to see it in person to decide.

carbon fiber backed Altezzas, are...a little more nicer than ur run of the mill stuff. i think itmakes it a little more, Racey, not ricey. since, Carbon fiber, as we all know, originated from F1 cars.

my suggestion is, if u are stuck w/ the 86-88 tails, and dont wanna shell out 150-250 for a set of 89-92s. then get a can of that Nytshades 'paint' out of summit racing. you can spray it on ur lenses, and it automatically tints the plastic to a smoked color, hiding the red or orange pigment. and then when u activate the lights, the color shines through.

now, we have all heard about people getting tickets for having tinted covers on their taillights. but, if u look carefully, our taillights have the DOT #'s imprinted in the lenses themselves, so if u just color them black, and they light up the proper color when neccessary, and still have the #s showing on the lense, your Kosher. if the Man tries to give you a ticket, point out the #'s on the lens, and say, 'No, its DOT legal'

and, if u dont have the 10AE, youre car might look that much nicer w/ an ALL BLACK panel on the back, ESPECIALLY if you have a black car. afterall, my 79 trans am has factory tinted covers that hide all the colors till you step on the brakes. and its VERY sweet.

SNIPER, the auto ride height adjustment is nice, but impractical. afterall, No one is gonna notice a 3cm difference in ride height as you fly by at 120. not to mention, the equipment and controls to make all this stuff possible, would just weigh your car down, and diminish the fabulous handling qualites endowed by the mazda team. dont try to jank up ur phat ride w/ a Ford innovation. not to mention, the Mark 8 is like 2 ton...our car is a shade over 1 ton, thats a hell of a difference. and itll show on the track.

I dunno about racey. When I saw them on this Civic "racey" was the furthest thing from my mind. :p I think they just look pretty good on the car, especially since that particular one was black.

I also saw another variant of the Altezza for the Neon that looked pretty slick. Instead of having a chrome backing and a clear cover lense, the lense was tinted red. I imagine the stuff inside was shiney like the typical Altezza's, but it all looked red because of the cover. These tails definitely looked way better than the stock Neon tails, and much better than any other aftermarket offerings for the car.
