I managed to break my fuel door release on my rx-7 fc

I've seen somewhere the the rx-8 release can work in place of the rx-7s because I can't find one anywhere I wanted to know if that was true or not

hmm you should try it, it does look really similar. B095-56-890F is the part number, it fits a bunch of other Mazda's
plan B is that would could probably take the B095-56-890F apart and use it to rebuild the FC one. the FC one is FB01-56-890, google the pics, they really look the same

That little plastic piece broke when I pushed in the fuel door a bit to hard it kind of just snapped the visible part of it off

Mine did the same exact thing. . ..What I did was put a small magnet on the flange in the gas cap area. It keeps the door from swinging open but I'll admit, it's cool for the thing to work as it should.
