Fuel Door Catch Broken

So I've searched around and it looks like a lot of people have problems with their fuel door release levers not working properly. I guess that explains why my fuel door was broken when I bought the car. The little pin that's supposed to hold the door shut is broken off flush with the nut that holds it in place. Is this part replacable? Any work-arounds? It's kind of lame having my fuel door flap around when I'm driving.

mine was broken when i got it, i drilled a small hole in what was left of the pin and screwed a screw into it. Its a bit ghetto but was easier than trying to replace the whole thing, im sure i could use some black epoxy on the screw to make it look like the stock peice if i ever have the time.
