hey my rx-7 is still down for now
and my celica just took a **** on me today with a dead motor...

I was looking in the paper and found a rx-4 for sale though and I was wondering how much you guys know wabout these cars?
what is there power and 1/4 miles time;s like and what could I expect to get out of it as far a mpg?

they are asking $350 and I was curious if you think it would be a good deal or not
i dont care about looks right now just a decent car to get me to and from work when and if the rx07 breaks and something to get me there while it is broke for now

for 350, im guessing there are 2 major problems with it.

Blown engine.
Rust.

It's an old car, if my 83 in VA has a lil rust, then your winters have probably taken more of a toll. For 350 i'd doubt the engine is any good, but it couldn't hurt, it might have great compression, and just need something else. Check compression, tranny...oh ya, call and ask em if it runs and idles, then what it idles at. Ask them if they rev it to 7k and let it come back to idle, does it smoke any of the time (after the car is warm....)
