I Just Swapped To A 89-92 Motor.. From A 88

i got my car swapped... and i just got the kouki 89-92 swap.... basically i just got the core swapped... and i still have stock ecu from the 88... and like i got a newer turbo when my 88 turbo was bad... and like i was boosting at like 7-8lbs.. and i had a real nice sound for my blow off.. and the compression on the 88 motor... was basically dying... but now since i got the swap.. with the 89-92 turbo... its not as loud... is it cuz of the ecu.... or something else... cuz im only hitting 5 lbs....max... anyone... i just need to know???

FYI,

I spoke to him online. He has a stock exhaust and a TID. He used to hit around 8.xx with the s4 turbo, and now its 5.xx (stock) with the S5 turbo controlled by an S4 ECU.

I attribute it to no creep due to the larger wastegate.
