Hey blake, nice to see ya on the forum. I'm sooooo happy with my street ported engine from Rob, not to mention his 6port sleeves. The port in my blue car is'nt as nearly as big as the one's in your pictures. But i have to agree the Pineapple 6ports sleeves realy do help. I'm also porting a extra middle intake. If you would like, i'll bring it to the next meeting to show you. I'll post some pics in a little while. CJ
Yeah, I finally decided to give the forum a try. I was just over at Rob's shop earlier today. Later this week, we're going to get started on upgrading his web site. I guess I'll see you there on the 10th, for the Tech day?
BTW, here are the before and after shots of the primary ports of the same 6-port engine:
Later,

If you put the first two pictures side by side...you can get a rought idea of how much material i've removed.
About that peripheral engine......i think i use to own that one!
The primarys look about the same....but its hard to tell, as i don't have any pictures of mine

Before you guys go out and realy get on it realy hard, (10k rpms) i'd install a 3/0 needle and seat. The one that was in there was only a 2/0.
Have you guys put any miles on it or anything? Or just idle time?

What is the easiest way to make a rebuilt (New apex seals and used housings in mint condition) 13B with auto tranny to start? I have killed two batteries and i DO NOT want to use ATF.

Make sure you have a spark first..
Prime the fuel system .. by jumping the primer connector jumper thing.- Green connector near intake manifold... on passenger side- check the manual.
Make sure it's not flooded.... and that the plugs are nice and dry.
Last resort- A can of starter assist- spray it into the MAF directly.
If it doesn't start- something is wrong.
I'm assuming you have compression!
If you started a new thread about this- it might get more views.. this 6 port one is an OLD thread!
