Question Fuel pump and yellow two pin..

So when you turn your ignition on and put a wire in the two pin yellow connector the fuel pump runs. The Haynes manual says the pump should shut off after a while.

Mine dosn't. It just runs and runs. I can hear the fuel coming in the fuel rails and back out to the fuel tank.

Is this normal. The FSM makes no mention of how it should act.

This is on my 91 TII with the Walboro pump.

As long as there is ignition power and the jumper wire is in there, the fuel pump will run. You're right, teh haynes manual is wrong.
