Question I just got a new RX-7...

Hi guys, I just got a 1991 RX-7 w/ 80k original miles for around 3.3k ( did i get ripped?) ... the interior and exterior is in pretty good condition ... Its a N/A but im not sure if its a GTU or GTUs ...( how can i tell?) Im a little new about rotary's so i was wondering how can i tell if the car has any problems? ( it runs fine to me...it quiet, smooth gear shifting, easy to drive...but im not sure.....getting worried reading about tah car breaking down easily and stuff frum other postings) ...I was also wondering how far in mods can i go to pass CA smog check and how to take care of my car? ...Thanks a lot Guys/Girls!!!

That doesn't sound that bad if it is in good condition. Maybe a little high since it is N/A. I got my '88 GTU with 63,700 miles on it for $3,450.

Well, the best advice to give would be to Read the FAQ and other stickies at the top of this section and to change all fluids in the car, the ones to use are posted in the FAQ. have fun with the car, but things will go out, it's also a good idea to get a copy of the factory service manual (www.rx7city.com) and make sure that all scheduled maintenance is done.

Have fun with your wonderful FC.

That's a nice deal I'd say. I got mine ('91NA) for 3500 @ 53600 miles and in good shape (plus it's the fully optioned model).
