Thumbs up I just got a 87 rx7.. need advice :P

Hey wassup everyone, I've been keeping up wit this forum and come read it every now and then... all very interesting...

I just bought a 1987 rx7, non turbo... some body damage, but from what i've been hearing, the engine is still in very good condition.. 130k miles on it..

... i've been taking it around trying to get different advice from different people, and i found out that the injectors are leaking, and the suspension on the back left wiggles...

i want to do hella stuff to it.. and i saw that nice body kit someone had a post on earlier....

all a dream, but i hope to make it all a reality soon..

i just need some help to get me on the right track :P.. thanks alot..

So the advice you need is:

- leaking injectors (aka hot start, aka fuel cut).
have your injectors professionally blueprinted & cleaned. A bottle of tekron per fillup may help as well
- wiggling suspension - worn bushings, loose control arms, toasted shocks, worn springs
we'll need a few more details
- damage - need more details

Anything else?

yeah... the injectors ARE leaking.. and the suspension in the back is wigglin too, specially the left one in the back...

the engine should be ok too... almost 140k miles on it...

and the two fenders in the front each have a dent on the sides.... is there a easy way to roll them out? or do i have to get new fenders .. because there is a little bit of rust on them...

just wondering, how often do u guys fill up on YOUR rx7?

my gas actually lasts me for more than a few days

I fill up every four or five days. I drive about 50 miles a day. I get about 280 miles to 15 gallons of fuel. I get just a hair under 19 MPG. This all with my new exhaust and a moderate foot.

Download the FSM at fc3s.org. Its way better than a haynes manual.

Cool

Get an official Mazda shop manual. You WILL NOT regret it!

it doesnt even have a icense plate...
just a registration sticker..

im not sure how everyting at DMV works. but im going there tomorrow and find out what fees i have to pay...
the only big thing that worries me is passing the smog check...
