I hurt my engine. Need advice!!!

Was racing a Terminator and starting to pull away on third at around 6,000rpm's my engine started to misfire like a piston engine does when you disconnect a spark plug wire while running. Decided to turn it off immediately. Restarted the engine after stopping but only idle if gas is pressed a little. It dies if not done. Any ideas what can this be? I'm thinking about spark plugs or a Carbon...

You can rule out the engine with a ghetto and/or regular compression test.

at first, the line that was on the oil fill neck to the oil catch can got booted so I reconnected it. I tough that was the problem so I will check for any other loose line.

Mine being a S4 has the mech OMP so no worries for me. I doubt it is in limp mode since i have a stand alone and it being Mech but like I said, will verify none the less..

Tnks. Any more suggestions are welcome. I solved a manifold leak today. Gosh what a difference in sound it made. Even being a fast car, sounds silently and perfect with the RB mufflers...

its a protective measure programmed in at the factory to prevent under/no lubrication to the apex seals. if the OMP dies it kicks in.

I hate to say this but... I think you may have blown the seals on one of your rotors! is it sluggish to drive? loss of power?

It can't drive at all. Could barely drive it to the garage after arrived to my house in the tow truck. How much a seal kit cost? Recommended brand? Hope test on Monday turns out positive...

this all depends on setup and goals for the car. but, if it does turn out to be this you would probably need a rebuild... good luck and i hope the test comes back good too!

Don't you love when a problem turns out to be something small and you catch it from the start?
