well i just noticed but on the rear quarter where the side marker goes the two moldings are different,,one is totally flush and the other has a little overhang,,kinda like a little sun visor on it,,,

which one is the right one for my car,,the flush or the visored one

it is a 87 t2

Series 4 had black moldings that are not flush. Series 5 had the body colored flush ones. You have a Series 4.

Yes. It will. I have seen it done lots of times. So will the moldings. The body did not change from 1986 to 1992, so all body panels are swapable.

I don't have 1st hand experiecne, but like I said, all the body panels are swapable. Just unbolt the old bumper cover, and bolt up the new one!! It's that easy. The hoods are the same dimensions (I do have 1st hand experience w/ that), the fenders are the same, and so are the headlights (experience with both). So no, no fittment problems there.

Go for $50-$75. $100 is a little steep from a j-yard. You can get aftermarket ones for like $250.

Its that way from the factory. The little overhang is to keep gas from splashing on the yellow marker lens. The gas would probably discolor the lens or haze it over. My TII has the same thing.
