I have spark, fuel pressure, compression, and a TII that wont run...

I finished dropping the S4TII jspec into my S4TII, reconnected everything and double and triple checked. I checked fro codes and fixed a few minor problems however the car still refuses to start. I removed the vacuum webs and soleoids, but kept everything else in place. It seems the injectors arn't opening as i have loads of fuel pressure, and spark but can't smell any gas, and the car wont eve kick.

I f anyone could give me any information (possibly different injectors in the Jspec/ Aspec??) . The only thing a little odd is taht my j-spec came with an auto trans, or at least had the auto flywheel....?

It isnt getting fuel? WHYY! (please help meeeeeee!)

thanks

u sure its not just really flooded? Dump some atf fluid into it and see if you can get some compression. And also, i think the fuel lines are reversed on a jspec...

I'm not sure of anything anymore..rear rotor seems to have some compression, front nothing much at all. Is there any way to help the apex seals out and get the motor running??

thanks

get a compression tester. You can play it by ear, but its not always accurate. Take out the leading plugs and crank the engine, if you get six even "pfftttt"s you should atleast not be blown. You can also crank it by hand by turning the main pulley bolt

Put a few ounces of oil into each chamber and rotate the engine by hand a few times. You need to build up compression. Check to make sure the AFM is plugged in. If you have spark, then you should have fuel as the ECU is obviously receiving power. Grab a copy of the factory service manual and verify continuity on the injector power wires back to the ECU. If in doubt, then check for 12V at each injector (one terminal will show 12V with the key on IGN).

Edit...Also, make sure the CAS isn't backwards.

Aaron cake nailed about evrything for you. Here are a few things to look at when using the J-spec.

The fuel lines are reversed on it. The FPR is part of the primary rail so your pressure line needs to go to the secondary rail. Another member on the forum was having this issue as well his was a bad FPR.

Do not pull start it if the apex seals are stuck. when they spring free you can brake them easily. It is not uncommon to have a motor with stuck seals even freshly build ones. When they sit-up they can stick. As Aaron Cake said put some motor oil in the plug holes and see if you can build compression and get them to reseat. I pored MMO in mine when I first got it. The next day I rotated motor and repeat for a few days. In about a week I cranked some. Then checked compression. This was to best assure the seals were seated and not sticking as much as possible. ATF works and eats carbon but dose not burn well and eats seals up. MMO burns very nicely in an engine and motor oil is allot thicker and will build compression as Aaron Cake said.
