I have some questions....
I just bought my 10th Anniversary a wek before Christmas and the guy that had it before me DID NOT do anything to take care of that poor car.
I have been qworking on it little by little and now I've discovered that to of my air intake hoses/pipes are cracked and need to be replaced.
My question is would it be cheaper and better in the long run to just buy an aftermarket Intake system or to just bite the bullet and pay the $350 for the hoses that Mazda wants for them?

***** it. Go aftermarket. Think about it this way. Its a tube that air travels through.
Add a K&N intake or something and you have more air going through a tube.

Ya I say go aftermarket. Always better to upgrade when replacing any product to me.
