i have hesitation with heavy gas pedal movement

somebody told me it was a defective accellerator pump. please help, if so could anyone tell me where it is located.

hmm... I have no idea what an "accelerator pump" is...

Does it hesitate at certain RPM's?
Wide Open Throttle (WOT)?
in neutral?

What kind of car do you have?

if it hesitates while accelerating in the same RPMs everytime... probably a shot cat or two.

Try checking 90 degrees behind the 3rd vector, right behind your timing belt, and diagnal from your head gasket.

It might be if your engine had a carb, but it doesn't...
