I have 2 quick questions
I cant find the info I am looking for. I am going to run premix and have deleted my omp. I am installing 4 750 cc rc fuel injectors. Question 1 do I still run the diffusers and 2 is I dont like the look of the rc injector o-rings. I would like to buy factory o-rings. I have seen someone had these for sale but can seem to find them. Thanks for the input.

Leave the injector diffusers alone and what do u mean the fit tight? They should or else you'd leak fuel and you should use a little petroleum jelly on the orings when installing them on the rails to prevent snagging and tearing

Ok here are a couple pics of what i am talking about. One is of old and new injectors. all the info i found says these are the injectors i need. One is of the primary injector holes with a pointer pointing to the point of contact. also in one of the pics of the rc injector u can see the contact point. also notice the nozzle end is shorter than the factory end. Factory injector looks like it sticks further into the defusser. Sorry for spelling mistakes.

In your picture of the injectors............if that red cap was removed that would help. But mostly I wonder if below that red cap is there a rubber dust grommet?? Or not?

Read the post above and the reply by HAILERS down the page. Does his discription sounds familiar or is your another problem??????
On second thought do not read that thread above. Only the reply I made with the two jpgs attached to it. The second jpg shows what I had to do to a set of delphi injectors to make 'em work on a series four enging. I had to *turn down* the upper part of the fuel injectors to get them to enter the fuel rail enough to seal and also to fit when installed.

No problem fitting in the rail just clearing the cast iron with the body of the injector. The cap is on there to keep debris from entering until install. Seems to sit deeper in the engine than factory injector

I will try that. I just posted another thread trying to be more clear. I think I confussed some people on this one. Thank you Misterstyx69. I know other people install these all the time and wonder why I am having these issues. The factory pintle caps dont remove I thought that would work but am back to square one.

The Rc has a bigger tip at the end so the stock injector pintle cap won't fit.
If you use the thick grommet what you can do is use a Small O-ring on the end,and that will butt the Grommet up against the body of of the injector.I run like that just to assure a good seal.
So,picture the Injector as :injector body,Grommet,O ring just above the "nozzle"(tip)..
then put the injector on the rail...hook up wires.Put injector rail and injectors in as one,and put the Bolts to it.

I tried new injector lower seals from Mazda. Still hitting the body of injector. I am running all new o rings even on defussers. I have defussets installed then injector grommets from Mazda and the injector still sits to low.
