I had too much heat under hood and now theres a hole in it??

Hahaha, well i have had some issues with under hood temps that were getting into the interior that was like a easy bake oven since i went to a turbo setup and so decided to make a vent in the hood. Heres some pics hope you like, sorry for the blingingness of the aluminum.

more pics, i also plan to make a fiberglass or carbon fiber versaion if others are interested.

You would get better airflow if you designed it better... It's looking super nice though. Common physics will help you make temps lower! It's not all about looks

well i'm not going to argue but yeah the flow probally could have been done better but with the small area i had to work with and the fact that i just wanted it to leave in the section where the scoop was on the hood was a factor.

yeah there will be a prototype one with a smoother flows and maybe a slight bit bigger hole, its hard to get it bigger than it is now.

i got a front mount intercooler, air flows to front mount then oil cooler then radiator then efan then out the hood

coolant temps didn't change much, before driving around they would be about 1/8th up the gauge, and at idle aboiut 1/4 up the gauge, now it sits 1/8 up all the time.

haha ya i wish the fc didnt have any moldings. i photoshoped it to see what it will kinda look like when i paint the moldings red...I think it looks Alot cleaner. But this is how she really looks now until i have the moldings painted red. I cant wait...
