I really think it should be made mandatory that new members must read the FAQ. Have a quiz at the end to see if they actually read it before they can post.

You need to search for turbo conversion. Here's a link that might help though.

Its really not the best idea to put a turbo in an N/A car...just because it would be cheaper to just buy the turbo car. You can however run nitrous in the N/A without much trouble if you set it up right. Just use a wet kit and make sure you have plenty fuel so you don't lean out. A 75 shot gives a nice kick and doesn't hurt reliability as much as a turbo does.

the fact that it is a GXL is a non issue, the fact that the GXL is an n/a car is the issue. Search for T2 Swap, engine swap etc. and you will find all your answers and for improving n/a performance search "n/a performance" or something like that.
have fun with the car.

I am sorry but you know what i find funny is you havent even got the car yet and you are talking about turbo right away ? I sounds like you havent had a rotary before? Why not get the car and drive it stock for abit get a fell for it and then start working on the n/a then start talking about turbos?? Just my thoughts ever time i sse some pot something like can i turbo my GXL??? well learn first then think about it for awhile the do it and not mikey mouse do it right the first time!
