well, i finally got my jdm T2 motor running, and it is damn FAST!!! its raining though, and i couldnt really get any traction in first or second, i cant wait to see what it can do when its dry. sorry N/A lovers, but i needed the POWAH!! it pulls so damn hard, and the turbo sounds like a jet, i cant even hear my exhaust over the sound of it spooling up. I kept the N/A tranny, (gotta love the 4.3) but i also had to keep the n/a clutch because i didnt have the money to buy a new one. the reason it wasnt running was the front primary injector, i replaced it with a rebuilt one from Autozone, but the gave me the wrong one!(they looked almost identical, so i didnt bother comparing it to) then i got a new one from advanced auto and it started right up. however, i am having some problems with the idle, i start it up and after the cold start, it goes down to 1100 rpm, but when i hit the gas or something, it fluctuates +/- 1000 for a few seconds, then smoothes out at 1100 again. when i press in on the clutch to downshift, the rpms drop to 0 and it stalls. ill get some pics of it up tommaorw.
please educate me i need to replace my injectors, and having a big ....@#$% i took off the 3 bolts that hold the intake manifold on, but it won't come off.. what do i need to do to replace the injectors??, sound like a good project by the way, o! and the problem that u have sound like u nee dto check ur timing.
wow, you're the 2nd person I know so far who's done the GTUs TII (Infini IV) conversion. Good job on killing another GTUs. haha j/k. Have fun driving in the rain.
Loofee, why do you have such a car and not know how to replace the injectors? Well then..
1) Unbolt the intercooler (4 bolts) and remove the turbo/intercooler hose.
2) Unbolt the 4 nuts and 1 long bolt to remove the upper intake manifold.
3) Now both the primaries and secondaries should be visible. Each pair are held on by 2 bolts.

there is also the nut on the throttle body that holds it to the TMIC bracket, you will probably have to take the bolts out of the oil neck and move it out of the way so you can fit a rachet or something in there

Glad to see you got the car running.
Also, I took a look at the engine you sold me yesterday, and the tension bolt that's stamped with the "M", was unbolted. I doubt anything happened to the internals of the engine, but what exactly happened there?
