Find the Factory Service Manual online:
http://www.fc3s.org/how_tos/manuals/88_fsm.html

Look for the fuel system and run through the checks.
If that checks-out, try another system...

Remember, all you need is fuel, fire, air, and squash for the engine to run. Make sure you got these things and varoom!

I havent read this thread yet, but I just thought I would tell you what I did to start my car that had been sitting for 4 months in Maine.

I had a half tank of gas, and added a whole bottle of "dry gas".
Pulled all my plugs and cleaned them with a wire brush and then touched a lighter to the end of them for a few seconds.
With the plugs removed, I turned my fuel-cut switch to off, and then put a rag near the plug holes. Cranked the car for a long while, until I was sure that whatever was in the engine had been spit out onto the rag. Cleaned the plug holes with a rag, then squirted a few squirts of 10w30 oil into the holes and then put the plugs back in. Cranked for a few seconds, then flipped the fuel switch on while cranking. She fired up and ran fine, I let her idle for about an hour afterwards, it smoked for about 5minutes while the oil was burning out. I also replaced the coolant at this time since mine was low and I got that damn buzzing sound.

OK.....EVERONE I GOT THE CAR TO TURN OVER AND RUN. THE PROBLEM WAS THE FUEL PUMP. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE CAN GET A NEW OR USED GAS TANK.....REASON IS THAT THE SCREWS THAT THE OLD FUEL PUMP HAD WERE VERY RUSTED AND WERE HARD TO TAKE OFF BUT INORDER TO TAKE OFF THE SCREWS I DRILLED THE TOP OFF THE SCREWS HEAD. NOW THE REST OF THE SCREW IS NOT COME OFF THIS IS WHY I NEED A ANOTHER GAS TANK.

You should be able to pick up a gas tank from any junkyard.

Check out:
www.car-parts.com for a junkyard search, or visit your local junkyards (that you do the labor) for your cheapest deals. Just be sure to clean out any used tank before you use it.

I seriously doubt you'd want to pay the ~450USD for a new gas tank.
