Not too bad. I have fixed worse on bugs and 914-6's. Its a 74, original engine, looks like they had tranny probs, gearshift laying on floor. no back window, bed looks pretty bad. I'll just make a stakebody.

why not supercharge it. If it's gonna be a tow vehicle it'll make it that much easier to drive, with the torque down below. A 7" blower should do the trick. Plus it's stays kind of old school

 

lol I saw one on the road a month ago. This dumb guy was driving it and had put these cheesy self made rotor stickers on the side. The thing was also on the dreaded small dayton style wheels with the little while wall low pro's. I was so disgusted. Oh yeah he also had ******* gold trim everywhere on a red REPU. :shutters:

 

Chris at Checkpoint has a blue 73 REPU with a 1990 turbo motor and a WOLF 3D 4.0 in it. It runs 17psi and its very fast! Id say put a turbo motor in it!

Towing with a turbo rotary engine would suck. Unless you had like 5.12 gears or something.

Sorry but REPU's dident come out until 74, and were only made for 4 years until 77. Did you guys know that the REPU ad along with the rx4 were the first vehicles to be fitted with the 13b for US import? Any ways ya there was only about 15,000 repu's made and most of those were in the first 2 years of production. Also they were only imported into the US and some got into canada and Japan never got any nor did Aus.
