Well, it's along story about bailing out on the NA because I found a TII cheap(blown motor) and having to get new rotors. I got them from a forum member last year and have been to busy to work on the car.

I'm working on it now though! I took the rotors to work and lightened the sides. Sorry. We don't have an accurate scale at work but I could tell the one was lighter than the other after machining.

I also, after reading BlueTII's thread wanted the closing chamfers. Now I have them CNC'd and all! Opening is not needed. I'm going with a half-bridge secondary/ RB street-port primary and secondary.

Don't flame me on the surface rust. I had them in the garage after hot tanking But it comes off easy. I still need to do alot of deburring, removing of carbon from the seal grooves, and polishing of the combustion chambers before sending the set off to balancing. Tell me what you think.

Thanks. My digital kitchen scale maxes-out. The digital bathroom scale is not fine enough.

Looking good! For the surface rust, both my rebuilds have taken some time, due to waiting on parts and money and weather, etc... what works for me is a splash of Marvel Mystery Oil on a papertowel, and just wipe all the smooth surfaces - sides of rotor, rotor housing insides, side seal surfaces etc. I just wipe it once when I take it apart until it's slick and then keep an eye on it. Never had to reapply.

This is ONE of the cases it is alright to use sperm of the devil on (WD-40) as that is actually what it is made for (water displacement attempt - 40)

My rotors had surface rust on them too , landers said they were fine though. I believe mine had surface rust because the engine suffered from a waterjacket seal blowing, I wonder if he cleaned all the rust off mine ?

My motor has about 2000 miles on it now and running great.

I used a Hurco and wrote the program at the machine useing thier conversational programming software. All you need are the corner seal locations and side seal arc radius and center.
