I.D.ing injectors?

went to a junkyard today and found a few 7s... didn't have much time but i grabed a few injectors knowing i may be able to put them to use.

i didn't get a chance to check the years of the cars but they are all NA cars so that narrows it down a good bit.

i got 3 from one car and 1 from another... all 4 are red plastic but 3 are silver metal and one is black.

from that can anyone tell me what years they came from? (87 1/2+ is good cause of the low independance

thanks

Actually 87 1/2+ are high impedance.

Check the locking tab on the connector. On center ones are low impedance, offset ones are high impedance.

Look directly at the connector. On the bottom of it, there is a small tab that the metal ring on the wiring harness plug locks onto. This will be on center on a low impedance injector, and offset (I believe to the right) on a high impedance one.

what is the actual resistance on the two versions of injectors. i know the 87 and 88 are high impedance and the 89+ are low, but what are the actual numbers?

w/ all the yards hwere theres a lot of body... some have engines... the ones i looked at today had lots of stuff off em but engines where still there... but manifolds removed (injectors where laying on something up on the top so i snached em)

...theres another yard i frequent...last i saw about 2-3 weeks ago they had a brand new (aka not yet parted out) 7... they are all NA... kinda hopeing to find a TII at some point as sad as it would be... but i'd love to get a few parts off it... if you want i can check out a few more local yards... 6 1/2 hr drive from tampa to here... (just picked up my turbo mkI mr2 parts car from tampa)

some prices are ok some suck ***... let me know what your looking for and i can eye some stuff for ya... gota head back there soon.
