I can't find the S4 taillight mod tread
A couple of years ago i stumbled across a thread where a guy took apart his S4 tails and made them look much better. I thought I saved it but I can't find it now.
Well, today i took apart my tail lights and can't figure out what he did. I've spent an hour searching and ahve found nothing.
Can someone tell me what I'm looking for.

funny but not true. s4s look much nicer and fit with the lines of the car better.
there are two routes i've considered taking.
1. black out the lenses. i've seen it done well with the spary tint.
2. rebuild them with led strips instead of bulbs. i've never seen it done, but imagine the led strips off of a newer cts... that would look killer!
i cant think of much else you could do to the s4 tails...

That sounds cool, but I don't think he just tinted them. I remember him taking them apart and doing something... maybe he replaced the lenses with something else. i can't remember.
