When I sit for a long time my car gets hot. When I move rather quick shes ok, or cools down. I put in a new thermostat, my waterpump is good, and my radiator dosent leak or look to be in bad shape. But it still runs hot, but I forgot, I took out my P/S, so theres minus one belt, oh and my A/C, theres another belt. OH and ****, I broke one of my airpump brackets so that belt is rather loose. Hmmmm......... that leaves my Alternator belt. I think Im gonna put the A/C belt back on. Soon. Am I right?

No, I never did, I just thought it was my belts, because I didnt have this problem before I took them all off.

it shoud be fine with only the alternater belt at lower rpm. it just might slip a bit at higher ones. the ps and A/C ones won't make any difference. the air pump one will help it not slip. but that doesn't sound like your problem. warm the car up, shut it off and try to spin the fan. it it spings easy your fan clutch is gone.

just replace the stock fan with a 16" ELECTRIC. yoU CAN GET ONE AT aUTOZONE FOR ABOUT $50 WITH THE THERMO SENSOR ... Oops

With the thermo sensor too is an aditional $30 or so.
This way you reduce the parisidic drag and reduce the rotating mass. There are better fans out there but not at this price. Summit Racing has one, I think called Tornato, It is aabout $160 if I remmember correctly. It has amazing CFM rate though

electric fans don't cool as well and the cheap ones will not last very long. it also takes a big loan on your alternator.

as for the price I don't know. check yours out before you go start buying stuff.

The problem with using an elec fan is that it takes a lot of juice to run. It can put a strain on your alternator if you have the A/C and lights on at idle.

I run a stock Fiero fan in mine, with an Imperial thermostatic control. No probs, but i have no AC either. Believe me, you know when the fan is on at idle.
