Good lord!! My gas expenditure is ridiculous. Can you blame me? The car is so much fun to fishtail around corners at 6000RPM in 2nd gear !!! And when you're not fishtailing around corners, you're showing the honda's who's boss
My record was 113KM/FULL Gas Tank... and my best was 450KM/FULL Gas tank

You FC owners are lucky an FD has a 21 gallon tank and we are still hard pressed to get 300mi out of a tank. My best 1 tank average was 18.5mpg but mostly I get around 15.5 and at the Streets Of Willow Springs I got just 10mpg on the track. (of course having an auto hurts also) Its just too much fun to Floor the Throtle at every opportunity!!!

I TRY AND TRY!! to see what I can get as far as gas mileage,, but I just can't restrain. I think best I got out of my GTU was 340 miles (all interstate), typically I only get 280. 89-92 coupes have a larger tanks then 86-88. I was luckey to get 180 out of my 86 sport ported / flame thrower.

heh heh heh, my record was set at the MADS event I went thru 1/4 tank every 25 minutes! I don't know how that translates to mpg because I was busy not crashing the car and forgot to count how many laps I made...

Well its really weird. Everyone seems to have crap gas mileage but me. On a full tank. I went about 185 miles on just over a quarter tank. Thats like 5.2 gallons, and thats like 35.5 miles per gallon!!!! AND I took it to 6000 all the time! I even hit 85 at 6250 in my GTU with 7000 & 8000 left on the tach. just after I fille it up on that 35.5mpg! Holly **** I didn't know I was getting that good mpg! I just calculated it out and thats what the calculator said. Some one else do this for me as well. I'm going nuts. The tank it 18.9 gallons big. Thats tight! I can't beleive I had that wreck! I'll never get that mpg on any other car I get. Damn.

yea my gas mileage ever since I cleaned my ports and removed the actuators has gone through the roof. Before I would be lucky to get about 120miles on a full tank (87 NA). Now im getting about 280-320 on a full tank.

Talk about HORRIBLE mileage!!
All city I did get abuot 130km on 20 bucks... (10 mpg!!!)
I took a 7 hour highway trip pegged at 140 km/hr, and I since then, my mileage has been steadily increaseing!!
I now get about 190 km for 20 bucks... (29 litres) thats 15.8 mpg....

Before my porting it was probably about 17 mpg, all city....
Highway is another story... I'll get almost 30.

I got 23.5 MPG out of my TII on my way from NY to IA...I think I'm running a little lean. Now that I do mostly foot-to-the-floor city driving, I get about 200 out of a tank.

I haven't even put two full tanks in my car yet, but so far I have 285 miles on this one and it still reads above the 1/4 mark. (blowing flames and pounding the hell out of it in town, and half that mileage on highway)

I'm about to do the K&W block seal trick tomorrow and hopefully get some more mileage out of the beast.

My friends all say I have about 175whp but haven't dyno'd it yet.

`86 sport (N/A) RB header/ 2.5" fully open exhaust, 3" cone filter, and working 6 ports, with a couple weight savings mods as well.
