I am the S/C guy and need your help, please

I have researched alot but i cant find a solid answer. Will the TII complete manifold bolt up to my s5 6 port block? what kind of mods do i have to do to the manifold to get it to match?, or will it work at all?

Or will the TII UIM bolt up to the N/A LIM with slight modification?

Someone knowledgeable please help me out.

I want to put the complete TII intake on so that i can intercool the air charge easily, with out a plumbing mess

The 4-port intake will not be compatible with the 6-port block.

Hey! I'm really interested in your project. Actually, I want to replicate it to some extent. I think the TII manifold can be made to fit. The ports don't match up exactly though and you will have to do some port matching for optimal flow. Not particularly sure about bolt patterns and such. If you have a haynes manual you may be able to tell with it whether or not you can do it.

oh yea, my aim is lookicanread, email is nschreib@bellsouth.net

No it won't. The TII manifold only has four ports. The NA engine has 6. The TII manifold only has two pieces where the NA has three. The upper TII manifold will not bolt to the lower NA manifold. I guess a custom spacer could be built to mate the two, however getting the ports to line up will be tricky.

No it is not a bolt on sorry. I am not sure what website I saw it on but there are conversion plates available but this might push the lower intake manifold out to far for you (not sure how close that SC is to your manifold now). Do a search, if memory serves it was a Australian company, you know how those Auzies are about there rotaries .

well, he's not using his aux ports, so he would be running the secondaries and the aux ports on the same runners. He would need to grind out the lower manifold to fit, which shouldn't be a problem. The real issue is if the manifold will bolt to the block with enough clearance as well.
edit: hmmm...

it looks like it may go, but you may have to drill new holes. I am 90% sure

Good info so far, keep it coming

So will the actual bolts that hold the LIM to the block be the same? That is the main question. I can grind out the manifold to make the ports match, that is no problem. I dont really feel like buying a TII system and not be able to get it to work.

Has anyone done anything like this, Any input is very appreciated

It would make intercooling a very easy task with the turbo manifold system.
thanks guys

The s5 TII one looks like it might bolt up without drilling new holes but I can't be certain.

s4 you will definitely have to drill new holes.

heh... wait till I get my car running... I will direct you guys to:

megasquirt: standalone fuel(fuel only unless you want to get creative) controller
- do this for about 200 after you get done buying everything you need, excluding wiring harness

I'll do a writeup on my s/c install

I'll find a way to get the TII manifold on, dammit!

I'll let you know how much I got the parts for. I am pretty sure I can get a supercharger for 150-200 from the guys at www.sccoa.com

I'll provide my fuel maps to all, but I will in no way guarantee them and you will be at your own risk with all of this (as usual) so you might want to wait to see how my car does with it for a while.

edit: to make the megasquirt you'll need some pretty good soldering tools. It would also help to have some practice as well. (its not a first time soldering thing...)
again I'm not liable.

Try Arron Cake http://www.aaroncake.net/forum/forum...urbocharged+NA

I don't know. Have not been there, ain't done that...yet. But Aarron Cake might know for sure. Also go to the FAQ that is one of the first things you see when you get on the 2nd Gen site and look down the list and there is a thing or two about putting a turbo on a non-turbo. That's not exactly what your doing but there's some info there that might help.
