Smile Hylomar Overnight Take 2 (the answers)

I spoke with tech support at Permatex. The Hylomar stays tacky well over one night. Should you decide to use hylomar one night and then assemble the next day/night There sould be no problems. Just cover the area with Hylomar to keep dust off of it.

That's what Permatex said

Problem I've found with that is the seals like to change dimensions when exposed to the Hylomar for any length of time.

hylomar stays tacky indefinitely but it will dissappear after a few k miles of running time so i took Kevin's advice of using high temp RTV ultra black on the compression seals to help them seal long after the hylomar goes away. after my 4k mile teardown there was absolutely no sign of the hylomar in the o-ring grooves, it did a dissappearing act!

Karack, Mazdatrix has about 50 good used rotor housings. They are in the front office ready to be picked through. They don't re-use housings so they just set 'emout front and sell 'em $35.

It is in Signal Hill. which is basically Long Beach. Just south of L.A. Let me know if you need a pair. I'll go and see if they have any exceptional ones. I know the one I looked at had a better face on it than both of the ones I just put my motor together. I was tempted to buy that one but my budget is being taxed with stupid stuff
