MO Hybrid turbo questions

I have done some searching for the hybrid thread that was really good. I have a hybrid on the car I built. 88 se turbo 2 conversion.
Right now I have a 53mm hybrid on there. What's the biggest hybrid you can build for the stock manifold using stock hot side and cartridge. I used a t04b cold side on mine can anyone direct me to a turbo that would work good for a hybrid. Ebay turbo is fine. Gonna keep it cheap for now.

This thread answers most of your questions. Taking the cold side from an ebay turbo seems to work alright. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...hybrid-959045/

It also depends what you want from the turbo.
If you want max power, then go big and deal with the lag.
If you want response, go as small as you can while hitting your power goal.
