HP / Suggestions on this TII setup? (INPUT!)

So, here's what's up.

I'm going to be buying an S4 TII shell with a blown motor from a guy locally very soon.

Right now on the car, he has:

- Fuel Cut
- Intake
- Custom downpipe

I'm buying the shell and blown engine, and I'm responsible for the rebuild, so I'm thinking, what can I do while the engines being ripped open and the car torn apart?

- Engine - Rebuild with 3mm seals and streetport
- Walbro 255 ltr/hr fuel pump
- GReddy 60mm Boost Gauge (P/H White)
- 2x 720cc Secondary Injectors
- HSK SuperSequential Blow Off Valve Kit

Now, after this, what else can or should I do? I don't want any suggestions like OMG GET A T04E or something. I don't think I have extra money to spend for an exhaust system too, but that can come later.

If I were to get all of that done, what can you suggest I do? Any other parts I should look at? Boost controllers? Different brands than the parts listed above?

Could anyone tell me what kind of est HP I'd be making with the above setup?

Any suggestions are welcome, so please tell me anything you think.

Thanks a bunch!

Boost guage, fuel pump and BOV won't add any power, neither will the injectors, they will only help you support more HP/boost.

TII with intake (HKS adapter + cone filter), exhaust running 9-10psi boost should put out 200-230rwhp. Run a FD fuel pump (easy to find for $50) and stock injectors that have been cleaned and flow tested. My old TII has been running this way for almost 2yrs, 155K on the motor, probably 30 1/4 runs. Best one was 13.4@105.5.

ummm do you have any fuel control? if not i definately suggest getting a tunable ecu (lots of money) or some variation of an AFC. (less money, less tunability)

also, you should probably go with the "home made" boost controller for the cheapness/ease of install....

Check my setup. I did a lot of easy part replacement while the engine was out.

-Ball and spring MBC...or a EBC...
-Something to control the bigger secondaries.
-Port the wastegate and runners or goto a S5 turbo with a ported WG. If money is available, go for a hybrid (T04 series compressor wheel/housing).
-Upgraded rad.
-Better than stock clutch/PP.

Hmm, well..

It looks like I'm only gonna have about 500 to spend, minus the BOV.

So that leaves me with:

- Boost gauge (200?)
- Fuel pump (100?)
- Injectors (160?)

Now that's ok, but is there something I can look at first? Is there ANYTHING you think I need to buy before I by those, that will be more important? I basically NEED the Boost gauge (Any recommendations, fellas?), but if I need to buy a boost controller or something first, I will.

So, what can you tell me? Am I going to be pushing too much boost with the setup I have right there, or running to lean, or what?

Sorry for these dumb questions, but this is my first turbo car, so I'm still learning.

I would say to scratch the 3mm apex seal idea and use the mazda 3 peice...and scratch the expensive blow off valve....

Get a manual boost controller, the bigger injectors, and something to control them like a S-afc... You could also look into porting the wastegate on your turbo to combat boost creep... just my opinion

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, wastegate has been ported.

Oh yeah:

This looks like it has a big screen.

Could I use that as a boost gauge as well? I mean, could it tell me the boost? It seems I could knock out two birds with one stone.

I made a home-made BOV cost me less than 20 bucks, sounds ok also. Ill get a better one, but being 18 with no money you learn to cut some corners. Skip the injectors for now, as long as the stock ones work properly. Get the fuel pump. You are gonna want to save as much money as possible because when you pull the engine there will be many things wrong you didnt know about that will need replacing. I just pulled my engine and found out I needed a new clutch, flywheel, motor mounts and my injectors were leaking and all gummed up everywhere. So anyway.... Yeah good luck. =)
