HP question for a TII
OK, I need to know what HP this set up could get me since I can not gather any HP info. This is the current setup I have (Not all installed yet) but want to know what I could get out of the car and maintain a good boost level.
91 TII
Stock rebuild (KD Rotary)
Stock Turbo (I think - unsure)
Stock TMIC
Stock primary injectors
Secondary 720 cc injectors
3rd gen fx7 fuel pump
Mazdatrix brass radiator with new thermostat
HKS PFC-F-CON
HKS Graphic Control Computer
HKS FCD
HKS Turbo Timer
HKS Super mega flow intake
new o2 sensor
ACT clutch with stainless steel braided line
RB light weight flywheel (11lbs)
If I upgraded the Turbo and IC could I hit the 350 RWHP mark?
I have read alot of the different turbos everyone is running. I don't really want serious boost but would like to be over 300 hp and 350 would be the max.
Thanks

well with my 87 t2
with
2.5 bonez down pipe
k&n intake and custom TId
Greddy extreme cat back
bonez test pipe
stock engine
stock turbo
fcd
550 injectors
greddy turbo timer
i pulled right around 240 to the wheels putting down about 15 psi max
dont do this i blew a coolant seal
but at about 300 hps is when the tmic starts to become obsolete, and im not sure on how the fuel pump will hold. but getting up there in boost your gonna want something to control your timing otherwise you gonna run hot and detonate. also i think i read somewhere that if you tune your 720s right you can get it up to a safe 320 hps. my advice get a boost controller and port your wastegate upgrade your fuel (which you did) . run safe then worry about pushing it. get a down pipe, seem to be a huge difference on mine.

I forgot to add
Bonez 2.5 downpipe
Bonez 2.5 HF cat
Dynomax cat back exhaust with inserts removed
I will be changing this to run the new Racing Beat SS complete system.

Thanks for the input.
I plan on getting a boost guage soon to see what is is set at. I think it is still stock settings. Then a boost controller.
I want to get a new 50mm wastegate and also run the HKS blow off.
You can't use the after market wastegate with the stock turbo setup you are running. Also you don't have enuff fuel for 350rwhp. You should probably do a little research on modding out your FC and have some understanding of the costs.

for putting 350 RWHP, most people use 1600CC as secondaries, even with 4*720CC, I'm not even sure you would be able to have enough fuel to run 350hp
anyway, you WILL have to buy a standalone for these kinds of hp numbers

Stock boost with an exhaust I made ~215hp on a S4. I would expect a similar amount of increase over stock on a S5. (30-35hp) It would also depend on what you do regarding your fuel tunning. http://www.geocities.com/jeffguilfoil/dynoresults.html Assuming no boost increase add another 10-15hp for your intake.

With the exhaust you certainly won't be running stock boost-you'll probably creep to 11-12 lbs. You'll probably be in the 230-240hp range depending on fuel.
You won't get anywhere near 300hp with stock ports/ecu/TMIC/etc.
I'm setting up my 91 TII block with race porting/1600cc secondaries/walbro& aeromotive FPR parallel fuel setup/FD intake manifold and throttle body/FMIC/Haltech E6k EMS/etc. and am hoping to be right near 300hp at the wheels at 14lbs boost
.

If you sealed the wastegate shut on the stock turbo and got a new manifold you could use an aftermarket wastegate. Although porting the stock wastegate is probably the most cost effective and best idea in that situation..
