HP loss????

I seem to notice lately that my car just isn't what it was. The other day my friend took me off the line in her BEETLE. At first i thought i just had changed the way i was driving but now i notice that before i used to have the 3800 rpm hesitation, but not that's gone and it seems to have a hesitation from the get go and then will kick in with some power at 6000 rpms. It's a 90 GTU and i have a Bonez Intake, which we cleaned the other to make sure that wasn't the problem and also a RB exhaust. what do you guys think? Someone suggested it's maybe my trans? Not sure about that one. The trans has 180,000 miles and the engine is re-man but it's not even two years old. Suggestions anyone? I need my power back, can't be taken out by anymore Beetles. ( I did catch up with her in 2nd gear and kick her *** though)

These cars have no torque. If you put in a high flow exhaust, it will cut your bottom end. SLip the clutch a little more on take off, and you should be fine!
