Hows your coolant tank setup?

So I'm getting around to putting in my rad and getting a coolant tank and the whole bit, I'm probably relocating the coolant tank since I have to buy a new one (one didn't come with my car when I bought it and if I'm buying one ill just got aftermarket) just wonder how you guys ran your coolant lines and tanks, Amy tip/ advice would be greatly appreciated!

What's wrong with getting a stock overflow and putting it back where it should be??
It's tucked away. Don't need to get fancy with that thing.

+1 to Van Halen. Unless you HAVE to relocate it, it's fine where it is and my line is connected to the top of the radiator.

I relocated my tank (and a lot of other stuff as well) to the space formerly occupied by the battery.

This tank was a junkyard find (nope, no idea what from) and was one of the more difficult parts to source.
Finding a tank of usable size/config that also has mounting tabs/brackets you can work with is way harder than you'd imagine.

I might see if the stock position works, I'm relocating/ making new brackets for most of the stuff anyways. I guess I just need to get my hands on a tank first and then I'll see from there

Check with guys parting their cars. They should be cheap.
And get the bracket as well.
If you're like me and don't like things hanging everywhere ,
stock location hides it . There's no need to over think it .

I saw I think cx racing makes an aluminum one for ours on ebay. Fairly cheap and bolts in the factory spot. Just anidea. But like they said no reason to over think something so simple :-)

I think the one you speak of I saw for 75$ on eBay, though a stock one you can get at a junkyard for like $20 , depends on how much you're willing to spend.

I was just looking at that, it's 75.74 plus 37.88 for shipping... Better of finding stock!

you know they make a coolant overflow bottle that sits up front right???Between the rad and front bumper support area.(see Clokker's pic?...his "vent piece on that panel is hiding the location.)
