How would you prevent towing?

If you can buy a $35 parking pass, then what's the problem here exactly? Or could you talk to the owner of the property before it becomes an issue and see if he will give you a few days/weeks to move it? Otherwise some bad ideas include:
-Get a loan and fix the car. Then you can get your RX-7 running, and help stimulate the economy at the same time.
-Get a super big-*** heavy-duty chain, then lock your car up like a bike. Thread the chain around your subframe and a lamp post or basket ball pole. Hell, you could even loop it through the subframe of another vehicle. Position the padlock in your engine bay where it can't be reached from below. If your chain is big enough, they will have to cut the lock instead of the chain. Then lock your doors so they can't get in to pop the hood.
-Install hydraulics and drop the car until the frame is sitting on the ground.
-Find the potential tow company ahead of time, and bribe them less than $400 to not tow your car if they get the call.
-Sell the car quick and let it become somebody else's problem.

Heres one that actually works. Get some window paint, like white shoe cleaner or something. Write in big capital letters on your car "REPO". Towing guys will leave it alone because they think its a repo and about to get towed. And a bank will never actually send a truck out to pick it up as its not really a repo.
I've honestly used this method before, had my buddies 240 sitting in a driveway of some house for sale in a gated community for almost a month and a half before we went and picked it up with a flatbed of our own.
And agreed with ^^^. Push your girlfriends **** into the road. I'd never let my 7 get towed.
