...get the pre-cats off after unbolting all the bolts??
it seems like it should come off but, it won't go past the bolts .
should I just pull until it comes off or is there an easier way?

nevermind, I managed to put my foot on the outlet for the air pipe on the cat, pushed everything back and pulled down and it is off. next step, starting the car and seeing if it is quite enough to drive to the exhaust shop
