Arrow how would this help my s5 turbo?

i was looking at the hks wastegate actuator.im guessing its a direct replacement for the stock one.the description says it can hold up to 14 psi.i heard the stock s5 turbo can hold 12psi. if were to set the boost controller to 14psi,would my car run ok with the proper mods? if i were to replace the stock one with the hks unit, what benfits would i get out of it?is it worth it?

thanks

heres a pick of it and the description

HKS internal wastegate turbo actuators utilize larger internal diaphragms than the original equipment actuators allowing quicker turbocharger spool up and boost stability. HKS upgraded wastegate actuators are for use with the factory turbocharger(s) and are a direct replacement for specific applications

the problem with the s5 turbo isn't that the wastegate opens prematurely. The problem is that the compressor just can't flow enough air. This actuator isn't going to help.

Pushing the stock turbo past 12psi is pretty fruitless and does more harm than good. They are relatively small turbos, they are aging, and they do not use ball bearings. Now I don't know the reasons why 12psi is about the limit, I haven't done the testing, but 12 is what a lot of the experienced guys here say. I've hit upwards of 17psi creeping on my 87TII and I can't feel ANY extra power over just 12psi. When it gets up there it makes so much heat that you run the risk of detonation and a hotter intake charge will rob you of power that you could be making. In short, don't do it. A boost controller is a useful tool, I use one, but I don't try to push my turbo past 12psi.
