how to wire open ports

can anyone help me out here, Ive checked the archives, and i am aware where the ports are i just don't see how you wire them open...My air pump isn't hooked up at the manifold but everything else is still in place, plus i have about a 1 in hose coming off the manifold between the 5th and 6th port canister things that goes to a little filter looking thing into nothing. Car runs like crap around 4k rpms when the engine is warm. Any help would be great

Wiring your ports open is not going to stop your car running like crap. Getting the 6PI system operational will improve the engine's overall performance. If you give us some more info on the problems you're having we might be able to help, but IMO your heading down the wrong path wiring your ports open.

When they say wiring the ports open they mean to use a very solid wire (like bailing wire) to hold the ports open. You could also just remove them.
