How will an FC run on Ethanol?

Maybe this is in the wrong section but I'm just wondering what supporting mods one would need to run 85-100% Ethanol? There must be RX-7's in brazil where they use 100 % sugarcane produced ethanol. Since ethanol is thinner than gasoline would smaller fuel injectors be required? (or another way to controll the mixture). Would ethanol present a problem to the rotary engine and or fuel injection system?
just curious..........

Try the rotary general tech section.

The owner's manual says not to use any more than 10% Ethanol blend.
Our fuel systems are old and not rated for Ethanol.
We'd need upgraded injectors (need to pump more ethanol than gas), fuel pump (for the increased fluid volume) and some form of air/fuel mix controller at least.

I could get into the ENTIRE thing behind this, but I have already posted up on several threads.

It IS possible, you NEED bigger injectors, you NEED a standalone..

Isnt this like the 100000000000 thread about this in like the last two weeks? basically NO, an FC should only run on NO MORE than a 10% ethonol blend. Anymore and you have to really want to spend some money and change a lot of the fuel system.

Do a search. There is a big thread on the subject.

Short answer is no.
