How is the wastegate controlled on a stock s4

I've searched but havent seemed to find an answer. Im just curious, I've been wondering for the past few weeks and would like to know. Thanks.

Wastegate diaphragm that bolts to the compressor housing.

it's just boost pressure running right to the wastegate valve actuator. there is no electronic control.
