Chrome... ick.... Chrome tends to be heavy, especially as big as 18. I'd stick with some colored 17s. 205-45s I believe are a near perfect fit.

I like the rim just fine.... but your car would have to be pretty ricey to justify chrome like that.... = ) I agree with true, some color would be better... gunmetal, perhaps.

I tend to stick with the all-go, no-show principle... chrome is for show cars, painted wheels are for performance.... as long as you NEED the extra tread and stiffness.

Chrome looks good, on a truck of sedan, but not on a rex. Get gunmetal, or black, or white or somethin like that.

What color is your car? that would help

Don't listen to these guys, If you want to put heavy chrome 18's on your car go for it. FC's are very sexxxy cars and if chrome wheels strike your fancy then go for it. 18's look great on Fc's.

Keep in mind that the weight of the wheels will afect your performance.

Why is it every time someone wants to go a show route with there car you all flame on them. Chill yo... to each his own.

You are all go, but yet you are going to run a 205-45? Are you kidding me? If you are all go, how are you getting any traction?!

I'd say go for something a little more subtle, like a powdered chrome or aluminum, and 5 spoke. 6 spoke wheels really bug me for some reason. And i also think that 18's just look too big on an FC.

But all that is just my opinion. Do what you want, have fun. it's YOUR car.

just a bit to shiny for me. I prefer 17's in a softer finish

Excuse me? I don't need much more tire than that? I have an NA, and the 205-45s are alot better than the 180-70-14s mine came with. Pardon me if I don't think you need 235-35s in order to keep 150hp on the road. Relax. 205-45s give enough width to give good traction without weighing the car down or causing a need to recalibrate the speedo... at least not significantly. They knock the speedo off by 1.43%

What size do YOU run?

what no spinners?

i would avoid the bent rims and go with 17s, it will get rid of some rotating mass as well. maybe a silver rim with a polished lip instead? that would be icy hot but at the same time not look like it belongs on an escalade

These are the wheels I'm looking at. They cost $550 a set, shipped anywhere in the cont. US but only on the 4-lug version (17" w/tires).
