How to test S5 OMP

I am about to swap my accessories over to a fresly rebuilt shortblock, and am curious how to go about testing if my original Electric OMP is/was working properly.

I am thinking I will premix just to be on the safe side...but as this car si my daily driver, I want to keep the OMP as well, so if I miss a fillup without premixing...everything will be OK.

Thanks

There is a test procedure in the Haynes manual. Basically, you run the engine at a set RPM for a set amount of time and measure the output of the pump.

Also you can go to www.fc3s.org and look at the Factory Service Manual there, it'll tell you most of anything you want to know.
