how to tell the difference between s4 and s5 switches? (headlight, wiper, turn signal)

i have a big box of random switches and would like to test them and rebuild any that are not fully functional. how can the s4 and s5 switches be identified? they all look the same to me. i dont want to plug any s5 switches into my s4 and fry the dash wiring.

any other way? i'm worried that some may be more faded than others. some have white sides, some black, some clear. it looks like the circuitry is the same but i havent taken them apart yet.

Model Numbers I think can tell. & Also I think the S4 & S5 switches do differ in circuitry (turn signal wise). S5 turn signal part number I believe is 513318.

The only thing I've noticed is the cruise control switch....s4 and s5 model is way different. One is flat the other is angled.
