How to sleep in a front set of a 2ndGen
HOW TO SLEEP IN YOUR FRONT SEAT
So, you're on the open road and have found yourself in the position of having to sleep in your car. Hotels are expensive, and you have all your stuff, or perhaps another traveler taking up the back. This guide will give you a few helpful hints.
1. The Drivers Position - Medium
This is where you simply stop the car and go to sleep. Your feet are by the pedals and pretty much nothing has changed from when you were driving. This is bad since you've probably already been sitting like this for 10+ hours.
2. Passengers Feet - Good
Probably the most successful, as it allows you to stretch out. Put the stick in 1st and release the parking brake, and put your feel into the passenger well. It helps to stuff a towel, sweatshirt or some other fluffy thing between the door and driver's headrest.
3. Sprawl - Poor
This is where you attempt to lay down, as if you owned a Lincoln Towncar. For a six foot fella like myself, attempting to put my feet on the passenger seat and my head on the drivers headrest was about as uncomfortable as could be imagined. Especially with that center consol.
4. Window Feet - Medium
A modification to the Sprawl, but with your feet out the window. This is better. You still have that center console to contend with, and of course, feet hanging out the window draw the cops attention. They don't like drifters. Not to mention rain or cold.
5. The Inverted - Medium
Here's a strange position where you get to be all strecthed out, but you're in the awkward position of your head being nearly underneath the steering wheel and your feet up by the passenger seatbelt. It's a nice break, but the unusuall feat-above-head doesn't help much.
ALTERNATIVES?
1. The Hood - Not good for TII's
2. Underneath - Impossible
3. The Back Hatch - Ideal. Kick other pepople/things out, and put your feet between the seats and your head by your taillights. Ahh... better than a mint on your pillow.
Sweat Dreams.

its quite simple, if the passenger is taking up the hatch area (wouldn't know why u gave him/her dibs on that), put all your stuff in the driver side and sleep in the passenger seat... at least its more roomy.
