How to reset timing/reinstall Crank Angle Sensor

Hello,
I had to pull the front cover and do some work on my S5 na.

How the heck to you retime the engine correctly? I don't understand the FSM.

It says to turn the e-shaft until the leading top mark (YELLOW) is aligned with the indicator pin.

Question, what is the top mark? Where is this yellow top mark located-on what component? What is the indicator pin?

Currently, I have the woodruff key on the e-shaft on the 12 oclock position.

Thanks,

Put the woodruff key at 9 oclock and your yellow timing mark on the bottom pulley should line up with the pin on the front cover. Then look at the CAS and align the line on the bottom with the indented hole on the cas. Stab the CAS in your engine but make sure it doesn't spin (hold it tight). The FSM does a pretty good job of explaining this but might be comfusing.. If you need any more help just post a reply.. Good Luck

Take the top cover off the CAS when you're reinstalling it so you can watch it as you are putting teh shaft in the hole
