How to remove stuck antenna mast
89 vert
Put on my duckbill spoiler and just realized the antenna stops my trunk from opening all the way.
Do I just have to remove the nut on top ? And that's it?
I know I have to use needle nose or vise grips carefully with a towel.
I just don't want to fully remove the system and after I remove the mast I want to compress it to put it back in.

Nevermind. Got it out. The cable looked ok and NOT broken. So stupid me, I decide to rewind it back in but before I do that remove the whole antenna assembly to see if everything Is a-ok.
Turns out that it actually was broken .... Inside the wheel I found the rest of the cable.
