How to remove oil lines from oil injectors.

I am about half of the way through taking my LIM off and I need to take off the Oil linesfrom my oil injectors. They look like a clear amber color. I also need to know if I can just replace the old vacume hoses that connect to them via the "spider". I have already searched for this and found a nice writeup by Agent D but he was not specific as to what the procedure was to remoce the lines. Thanks.

I had replaced those hard vacuum lines on the spider with regular silicone vacuum hoses with no problems what-so-ever, I don't see why it wouldn't work.. Now I don't even mess around with that stupid system..
Isn't there little metal clips, holding the oil lines onto little nipples on the oil injectors? I remember just slidding them off, but be careful those things break easily, you should inspect/replace them anyhow...

The clear plastic line and fittings are all one piece, I don't think they should be sliding off. You need a thin wrench (14mm?) to separate the fitting from the injector. I took an old wrench and ground it down til it was thin enough to fit underneath the injector. Then be careful taking it off, since there are washers that go between all the pieces.
