How to Remove..

How do I remove the "tar" underneath? I've heard talk of doing this but don't know exactly what it is. Also, of what under the hood stuff do I remove (emissions)? I need pics, word's and name's don't really work for me..help please

use dry ice, put it on a spot for about 20 minutes and then tap it with a hammer and it will chip off.

iirc, removing tar doesn't do much and is really bothersome. Search for it, you'll probably find it. In the archive, there's a thread detailing all you need to know about removing emissions.

isnt the tar there to help with rust and stuff like that?

If it is then i wouldnt bother removing it unless your building a car for strictly track use.
